Tech 21 SansAmp PSA-1.1 Programmable Rackmount Our popular SansAmp PSA-1 underwent an internal redesign to accommodate the use of improved, more efficient and cost effective parts in order to preserve its original price. While the 100% analog signal path and functionality remain the same, during the design process it became possible to include a few new features: an on/off switch on the front panel, more program locations (there are now 128), a master volume control, an XLR ground lift switch, phantom power MIDI input, and a dedicated headphone output.
Via MIDI, you can load and off-load presets, map program locations, and select MIDI channels (including Omni Mode). Remote program changes can also be made via MIDI (including Tech 21’s own equally player-friendly MIDI Mouse footcontroller). Other features include dual 1/4” and XLR outputs for stereo processing, either of which can be set at line or instrument level, and used simultaneously. The non-glare, 3-digit LED display is readable from any angle, in daylight or darkness. Considered a staple in professional recording studios, the SansAmp PSA has been used on major releases and worldwide tours for multiple applications and instruments, including horns, vocals and drums. Players, engineers and producers alike find the SansAmp PSA very simple to operate. To program, you just tweak the knobs and save. Parameters are adjusted in real time with traditional analog potentiometers. The digital memory stores the positions of the pots. With 256 incremental steps, each rotary control increases and decreases in a smooth linear fashion. The exceptionally versatile SansAmp PSA-1.1 offers 49 factory presets of the most recognized vintage and modern tube amp sounds for guitar and bass, and 77 user-definable locations. A Universal Output Section enables the signal to be compatible with full range systems as well as guitar/bass speaker cabinets. With the SansAmp PSA-1.1, you can record direct to tape, as well as warm up existing tracks in mixdowns. For live applications, it can be used as a pre-amp, “monster direct box” to P.A. system, and as an outboard processor. |

Electro-Harmonix Bi-Filter Analog, dual envelope follower utilizing multimode filters and a myriad of state-of-the-art features which give you plenty of options to tweak and customize your sound.. There is NOTHING on the market that can match its tone.
The BI-Filter is a single-channel processor, with the outputs of each filter available separately as well as mixed with the input signal in the main output. An effects loop is also provided to insert external effects before the filters, bur after the envelope detection circuitry. The front panel of this rack unit provides direct access to all parameters to encourage real-time fiddling. In addition to using the envelope of the input signal to control the filters, an oscillator is provided along with controls to control the rate and waveform shape. The two filters and their controls are identical, with control of the envelope attack/decay characteristics, filter type, frequency, and Q, and how the envelope and oscillator should sweep the filter. The output sections is pretty straightforward with mix controls for each of the filter outputs and the dry input, plus inversion controls for each filter input and the ability to arrange the two filters in series or parallel. Switches also let you bypass the unit completely, and disengage the effects loop on the fly. The rear panel of the BI-Filter sports all the connections, including the input, effects send and return, outputs for the two filters and the main output, CV outputs for the two envelope detector units, a pair of CV inputs for manipulating the filters from external devices, and a bypass footswtich jack. power cord included

Electro-Harmonix NY-2A Stereo Vacuum Tube Optical Compressor Putting more focus on the studio market, and after years in development, Electro-Harmonix has created the NY-2A, a professional stereo compressor with three different light sources in the compressor section for a range of sounds. The NY-2A uses hand-selected, low-noise vacuum tubes from a New Sensor factory. The unit features Lundahl transformers, VU and magic eye meters on both channels, and three different opto-couplers that allow for a variety of attack and decay characteristics. The available light sources are LED, lamp, and an electro-luminescent panel.
The two channels can be used independently or in stereo, which each channel offering pre gain, compress, post gain, and light source selection controls, There are also "Squash" and "Attack" switches to tailor the characteristics of specific light sources. A VU meter can be switched between gain reduction and output level modes, while a "magic eye" provides output metering at all times. Eight selected, EH gold pin tubes, Lundahl transformers in and out, detented pots with mastering trims and the finest military components available make the NY-2A a compressor for anyone whose bottom line is gorgeous sound.
