Keeley Compressor
The Keeley Compressor has become an industry standard for stomp box compression.  The sound will inspire, your music will flow freely, and you can just let your head, heart, and fingers fly from here.
The Keeley Compressor won the Editor's Pick Award from Guitar Player Magazine!  AND, most recently the READERS CHOICE AWARD for Stomp BOX...It is a true audiophile and studio grade compressor, exotic rack mount quality in a stomp box for once! Keeley Compressors are now designed with the 9v DC Jack at the TOP end of the unit which accepts a standard Boss type 9v power supply.  Keeley Electronics was the first to have a full production stomp box with a blue LED.  With the LED on this pedal only uses 2.5mA of current!  WOW, batteries should last 4-6 months with heavy usage! The Keeley Compressor now has an Internal Attack control, designed for bass players with high output active pick-ups or active pedal boards with buffers as well as Perfect for BASS GUITARS now!  Keeley Compressors also now have an Input Sensitivity Control!  This means you can use this in your studio to run keyboards, drum machines, drum mics, even master recordings and other line-level uses with the Keeley Compressor.  The Keeley Compressor effect has nothing but tone tested components and has TRUE BYPASS switching!  Effect switching incorporates a triple pole-double throw switch!  You will have clean unaffected sound when in the bypass mode AND an LED for effect indication.  Metal film resistors and capacitors ensure the cleanest compressor on the market.  Hand matched transistors to less than 1% tolerance ensures you get a perfectly compressed signal, no chance for unwanted distortions. Why does this compressor sound so good?  Careful selection of parts.  The output transistors are carefully matched transistors.  I use these to obtain an exact gain and sound field I heard from the Ross, yet have been able to surpass that sound quality by other careful refinements.  We use only the best components in the construction. Metal Film Resistors and capacitors are used throughout the design.  It also has a true bypass switching circuit.  This makes sure you have absolutely no tone loss or signal reduction through my pedal in the off/bypass mode.  This is a very expensive switch but is well worth the tonal difference. Our compressors are completely hand built and take nearly 12 hours to complete.  Every pedal is tested to ensure that there are no failures.  The pedal is "semi-abused" to make sure there is nothing but bliss when you install your new compressor.  I worked in the pro audio repair business for over 10 years and know what it is like to get something that should have been caught at the factory.  Customers don't like it and neither do I.  Since each pedal is hand made there might be small differences as improvements are made.  Every attempt is made to make sure your pedal looks perfect and sounds better than you imagined. The sound quality of the Keeley comp is unheard of in the stomp-box arena and is only seen in the high-end, very expensive rack-mount or tube equipment.  You and your tone will be taken to new heights! |

Keeley C4 4-knob Compressor
The C4 4-knob Compressor has knobs for Sustain and Level just like the original two-knob version, but the Input Clipping and Attack controls are now controlled by knobs on top of the pedal rather than with trim pots inside the pedal as with the 2-knob version.  This 4-knob version is perfect for high output guitars, bases, line level instruments, recording, etc. Note: The photo is a stock photo.  We are selling the very latest version.  The "Trim" knob is now labelled "Clipping", but does the same exact thing. |

Keeley Fuzz Head
Keeley's First Original Design Fuzz/Overdrive!
---Got a Class A amplifier?---  This might be what you've been looking for in an overdrive/fuzz box!  The blend between the two is simply wonderful!  The Fuzz Head is designed to work like Fuzz Face pedals that many players use as a LEAD BOOST.  A Fuzz Face can be muddy, lacking note definition, too bassy, and lacking sustain.  An overdrive sometimes doesn't give enough or is too smooth.  In contrast, our design is transparent, has a better frequency response, and gives you that cutting edge for lead breaks. * The Heart of this pedal is a NPN Germanium Transistor. * Additional Gain Stage, a Darlington Pair of high gain silicon transistors for tons of volume output.  This is great for overdriving tube amps or other overdrive pedals. * Buffered output so that it can drive pedals or amps with a nice high current and low impedance signal. * True-Bypass--offers you a clean true signal when the pedal is off. * Large Blue LED, a Killer Keeley Trademark! * Silicon/Germanium Toggle switch.  This is like a gain/style switch.  The "SI" mode inserts two diodes (one silicon and one germanium in parallel) in the distortion circuit so you can have a modern twist on a vintage sound.  It increases the gain and compression a bit for more sustain and for more of an overdrive mode. The "GE" mode is just raw and open sounding! * Very Transparent and Dynamic.  Taking the best qualities of the germanium designs and the overdrives.  Roll back the volume on your guitar for clean sounds, a variety of Tones, Textures, and Natural Fuzz/Overdrive! * Internal Drive-Range Control.  Lets you set up the range of the external drive control (FUZZ).  Perfect for fine tuning light overdrive tones to raging Fuzz. * NEW FOR JUNE 2004 *****INTERNAL TONE CONTROL!***** |

Keeley Java Boost
The Java Boost is a germanium based TREBLE BOOSTER, it is not a clean boost.  It is designed to give you classic tones from the 60's and 70's, and man does it ever!!!  It must be used with a cranked amp that is overdriven or distorting a bit already.  The more the amp and pedal are cranked, the more the creamy, beautiful, sustaining distortion there will be.
What makes this pedal king of the hill is that it has the REAL DEAL, no joke Mullard OC44.  Yup, Made in Holland.  We've only got a small number of the OC44 and CV7003 transistors.  Please order soon as this will be a limited edition pedal.  Looking for the Ultimate in Boosters?  The Perfect Boost for your main overdrive pedal?  From Surf to FUZZ...the best cutting and biting tone from a pedal! I have found people a little unsure about the Java Boost.  So I'd like to make sure you read about what it does.  It is NOT AT ALL related to the TS9 or Blues Driver, or any other distortion or overdrive pedal.  Boss and Ibanez do not make anything like it! It is a Treble Booster by design, not a typical overdrive or distortion pedal.  That means, the higher the note played, the more it gets amplified... and then, by your amp, distorted.  Bass Notes get Cut in two of the modes on the Java Boost! It is most widely used with a tube amp set to a bit of overdrive or clipping.  That is the key to getting a great sound from this pedal.  For example, setting the java boost in front of a very clean amp with the volume on 1-2 will surely result in a fairly weak guitar tone! ;-) Set the amp for some breakup, then click the java on.  There, you'll have a fantastic sound and see why people rave about the Java Boost. Another way to run it is before an overdrive pedal.  This is the pedal to get if you want a two pedal overdrive setup.  Couple this in front of a TS9 or BD-2 and the results are simply amazing.  This will add sparkle and life to your solos like no other pedal can. The best treble boost on the planet! * Modern Dallas Rangemaster Circuit * 3 way switched treble-booster, Stock Vintage Rangemaster(center), Mid-boost(to the Right), and Full Range(to the Left) * The switch is a very expensive locking 3 way switch so your setting is not moved. * Metal film parts for low noise. * BEST PART, The ULTRA RARE MULLARD OC44 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the transistor used in the mid 60's and only the best survive our critical testing.  Low leakage of 150uA or less and Hfe of 80-110 are minimum requirements for the transistor to be used in our circuit. * Second best part, DC jack and Negative ground system so it will work with your other supplies and effects and no smoking! BATTERY power is really the best way to power this device.  Because of its simple nature, ANY POWER SUPPLY WILL CAUSE NOISE.  We have designed in measures to reduce this noise, but it will still appear even with the best supplies.  Batteries will last 48 hours of continous use in this unit. (I LIKE this analogy I came up with this morning...a 65 Vette had higher compression needing a specific power source... High Octane gas to deal with the compression ratio... Well... this Vintage gear (came out around '65) has a special power source requirement BATTERIES, not modern DC supplies.  Yes, the Vetter will move down the road on 85-87 octane gas, but you'll hear some noise...KNOCK AND PING!  Just like with a DC supply with the Java Boost, you'll hear noise!) * Keeley Blue LED. * Each unit is perfectly dialed in...internal potentiometers let us fine tune each of the tested and passed OC44's for optimum operation. * Tone Control!!! Yes ours has a second way to control the frequencies of the boost made, plus the Standard Level Control. * True-Bypass, Switchcraft jacks. * Powder Coated case just like the Keeley Compressor * Stamped serial number. * THE Benchmark for all other Dallas Rangemaster pedals. |

Keeley Katana Boost
As far as guitar clean boosts go, the Katana is KING TONE.  It's the pedal to have for the finishing touch on your tone. Want a mirror image of your tone, only louder?  This is it.  The Katana is also a fat, harmonically rich boost, just pull out on the volume knob and stretch your imagination with overdriven tone!  You can keep it on all the time to push your amp harder, or as an occasional boost to cut through the mix.
Obsessed or Compelled with the Fattest, Fullest Drive?!?!?  Well, Before other people started using Blue LEDs and non-diode clipping stages, there was the TMB and Katana.... Cascading FET stages do the tube-amp-thing like nothing else! Two modes, Pure Clean and High Gain * With the speedo knob Pushed In, think of it as a volume control that goes to 20. ** With the speedo knob Pulled Out, it's a cutting boost with a bit of gain. Not quite an overdrive, just overdriven tube grit and edge to your tone. Katana Boost - Pure FET TONE, Large Supply Voltage, Very tube-like yet punchy and studio flat in frequency response. The Katana Boost can be used as the first effect in your chain or last effect, and anywhere in between...it depends on what you want to do.  If you want to push your distortion pedal (for more distortion) or other pedals harder (great for many chorus and other time-based modulation effects), then use the Katana right before those effects.  If you want to have the same sound only louder or with some tube amp break-up, then use it as the last effect in your setup. FEATURES~ * 9 volt DC jack or Battery operation.  DC jack at top of unit like Boss or Ibanez effects. * Internal Power Supply Boost - turns your 9 volts into 18!!!  The power supply's high voltage is what leads to this super clean headroom pre-amp. * JFET design - clean tones, tube like when they overdrive or clip. * Push-Pull Speedo Knob. Gain controlled by side mount knob so it can be adjust with your feet.  Pull out the Speedo Knob for saturated higer gain tones * Metal Film Resistors and Caps.  Ultra Low Noise Design. * Blue LED, a Keeley Trademark! * Silver soldered and Teflon coated wire * True-Bypass * Battery or DC adapter powered * 5 Year Warranty Dual FETs for the most tube like tone in a transistor design.  Power Doubling on the inside so you put 9VDC in, and we use a charge pump to nearly double operating voltage!  What does that mean?!  Switch in -> SUPER CLEAN HIGH-HEADROOM BOOST!  Pull the switch -> Tube-like gain!  THE EDGE! |
