Electro-Harmonix 2880 Super Multi-track Looper
The Electro-Harmonix 2880 offers the familiar control setup of a multitrack digital recorder while adding flexible looping capabilities and track manipulation control. Multiple loops, in stereo and mono, can be pitch shifted, reversed and manipulated on four recording tracks. These four tracks can then be moved to two mixdown tracks, freeing them up to be reused. Flexible punch in/out is available on any recording track, allowing the musician to achieve "Looper Perfection" with the 2880.
The 2880’s non-compressed audio utilizes a 44.1 k 16 bit CD fidelity while providing audio storage of 480 seconds for each of the six available tracks when using a 256 megabyte card (expandable to 2 gigabytes). With external in/out midi clocking, it also provides automatic format conversion to Mac or PC via USB. Complex multitrack loops may be created and overlaid in a performance situation with ease. With more tracks, more control and more power, the 2880 is Looping Heaven.

Electro-Harmonix 12AY7 Tube Mic Preamp In today’s market, most affordable tube preamps for microphones are disappointing. Electro-Harmonix has changed that with the creation of the 12AY7 Mic Preamp. Equipped with a 12AY7 EH tube and a 12AU7 EH driver, it gives microphones the widest dynamic swing with the warmest possible tone and accuracy. It uses an actual 200-volt supply instead of the “faked out” 12 or 48 volts you’d get with common models, delivering 50 dbs of gain into a high impedance load, and about 40 dbs of gain into 600 ohms. The 12AY7 Mic Preamp’s special FET current-balancing circuit allows the tubes to amplify the microphone signal to line level while eliminating noise, and protecting against hum and hostile electrical environments. It has an extra TRS output for separate line control, which can be used as a splitter or an AUX Send for monitoring. Input connections are balanced In and Out (XLR) with a ¼” TRS balanced buffer out. The unit also boasts a phase reverse switch and a +4dBm indicator light for setting optimal mic level. The 48 volt phantom power is soft starting and “pop free.”

Electro-Harmonix Bi-Filter Analog, dual envelope follower utilizing multimode filters and a myriad of state-of-the-art features which give you plenty of options to tweak and customize your sound.. There is NOTHING on the market that can match its tone.
The BI-Filter is a single-channel processor, with the outputs of each filter available separately as well as mixed with the input signal in the main output. An effects loop is also provided to insert external effects before the filters, bur after the envelope detection circuitry. The front panel of this rack unit provides direct access to all parameters to encourage real-time fiddling. In addition to using the envelope of the input signal to control the filters, an oscillator is provided along with controls to control the rate and waveform shape. The two filters and their controls are identical, with control of the envelope attack/decay characteristics, filter type, frequency, and Q, and how the envelope and oscillator should sweep the filter. The output sections is pretty straightforward with mix controls for each of the filter outputs and the dry input, plus inversion controls for each filter input and the ability to arrange the two filters in series or parallel. Switches also let you bypass the unit completely, and disengage the effects loop on the fly. The rear panel of the BI-Filter sports all the connections, including the input, effects send and return, outputs for the two filters and the main output, CV outputs for the two envelope detector units, a pair of CV inputs for manipulating the filters from external devices, and a bypass footswtich jack.
